International Day of the Girl Child: Kajol posts pic of Nysa, says, 'may we all have daughters who we raise to be strong and beautiful'

Kajol who was last seen in the web series, 'The Trial' recently opened up on what made her say yes to the role. She said that she first wanted to hear the adaptation. “As Suparn Varma (creator of the show) mentioned that The Good Wife is a western concept set in a western world and it had to be adapted to India, our sentiments, our society and our culture. And when you add all of this, does the show lose its zing or does it become too emotional?

As the world marks the International Day of the Girl Child today, Kajol took to her IGhandle to post a pic of her daughter Nysa and penned a heartfelt note. She said, "May we all have daughters who we raise to be strong and beautiful; and yet they manage to pleasantly surprise us with a Gen Z twist to that upbringing! I thank my @nysadevgan for educating and bringing me around to her way of thinking, time and again, to stop me from stagnating.
